The idea

Your body is art.

Body of Work treats the body the way a museum treats a masterpiece. She is made in the studio and shown in the gallery: placed on a plinth, studied by strangers, measured by art handlers, compared to the marble gods around her.

The statues are perfect and cold. She is warm, sweating and very much alive. A masterpiece is finished. She never is.
